Me'ya is a certified Meditation Instructor and Holistic Wellness Consultant from the Los Angeles area. As a holistic wellness consultant, Meya's main focus is training people to become self-sufficient meditators. Me'ya attended a consciousness-based university where she practiced advanced techniques of meditation, yoga, and breathing exercises as part of her studies. Over time, the practice of daily meditation has helped balance her health and lifestyle, bringing mental clarity, focus, and lasting relief from stress and anxiety. These results have brought out a passion to teach people simple tools for increasing happiness.
Me'ya teaches what is called the householder meditation technique or beginners meditation designed for busy minds with a busy schedule. It is a simple, elegant, and effective technique that is crafted to enhance your active life. It is practiced twice a day for twenty to thirty minutes with eyes closed while sitting comfortably with your back supported. During your training, you will receive a word and instructions for meditating with success.
What is Meditation?
Meditation is a mental relaxation technique used to decrease the thoughts of the mind until it reaches subtler and quieter levels of the mind.
What kind of Meditation teaching style is this?
Personalized (1-on-1) instruction, a comprehensive teaching style that gets you to become a self-sufficient meditator at anytime and anywhere. You will learn the basic technique of meditation to establish a firm foundation in understanding and guiding your practice which builds your confidence overtime.
How long does it take to learn?
It is thought in three consecutive days and each day takes forty minutes to one hour.
First-Day: Orientation and Initiation (Introduction to Meditation videos).
Second-Day: Receive your sound and begin meditating.
Third-Day: Experiences in meditation.
